Want an easy way to check water levels in nondraining plant pots?
Why not try the Jacrist Dipstick?
When repotting, insert a thin plastic pipe vertically in pot touching the bottom BEFORE you add the soil, then add soil as needed to fill any voids in pot.To use, insert a thin dowel or bamboo stick inside the pipe, let it rest for a few seconds and then pull it up like a dipstick. Any residual water inside the pot will easily show up on the stick. Rewater when level is absent or low.
